Berlin, Ohio, is home to one of the largest Amish and Mennonite Communities in the state. This tight-knit community is full of rich heritage, religious faith, and humble beginnings. As you walk the streets and visit the shops in the area, you'll experience a connection to the community like nowhere else you've been before.
The village of Berlin was first planned in 1816 by John Swigert, who immigrated from Berlin, German. In fact, most of the early settlers hailed from Germany and Sweden. Soon after the settlement was established, religious groups, such as Methodists, Presbyterians, baptists, and Mennonites, came to Berlin to start a new life. Not long after, Amish settlers arrived in Berlin to settle as well. With the influx of settlers, the area began to thrive on a hearty industrial growth, which still supports the community today.
The beautiful part about staying at Amish Blessings Cabins is that you'll find yourself being immersed in this rich history while you relax and enjoy your stay. We hope to see you soon so we can share our heritage with you and provide you with the best service in hospitality in the state of Ohio.
